Evyn Davis, trained at Lauridsen Ballet Centre, home of South Bay Ballet for ten seasons and has performed in many roles including Spanish, Marzipan, Sugar Plum Fairy and Snow Queen in The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Coppélia, White Swan in Swan Lake Pas de Deux, Carabosse in Sleeping Beauty, and soloist in Kenneth Walker’s Rito Transcendente. She is on faculty at Lauridsen Ballet Centre teaching ballet and modern and has choreographed and staged ballets for their summer program. Evyn’s emerging choreography was selected to perform at Regional Dance America/Pacific 2009 where she was awarded a full scholarship to the RDA National Choreography Conference that same year. She trained at the Julliard’s prestigious Summer Dance Program and is the recipient of the 2010 Daily Breeze Making A Difference in the Arts Award. She will begin her studies at Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film & Media Arts this fall as a Chancellor’s scholar pursuing a career in creative producing. This is Evyn’s third season performing with KWDP.
